Off the back of the “Welcome to the Madhouse” piece I decided to run with the face i’d given to the moon, developing a backstory and characterisation to him and turning him into a character of his own, one I affectionately named “Craterface”. In my mind hes the personification of the dark side of the moon, until i did some research and discovered that the dark side of the moon isn’t one place, the moon rotates at the same speed as the earth, and as such all of the moon sees both the sun and the earth. Regardless of whether i ever use him for anything, he’s been part of the journey, so i’d be remiss not to include him.
